Fairies in the Big City?

Any Big City.  Gods will do, too.

What I'm doing is putting together a panel proposal for Sirens, the wonderful conference on women in fantasy that sartorias is such an important part of.  I'm under the gun a bit here, what with my sieve-like memory and the Freedom Maze Revision Deathmarch and the Tuesday deadline on the panel proposal.  So I'm turning to you, FList, in the knowledge that you've read more in the past year than I have.

What I need is some titles, of books written in the last, say 10 years, set in cities (any country), where the plot revolves around the intrusion of the world of fairy or myth.  Vampires and werewolves need not apply.  Really.  I love those books, but I know what they are, and they are absolutely not what I'm talking about here. Tithe and its sequels are about the only urban fairytales that are coming to mind right now, and I don't have time to do a lot of research.  What are the others?  I know they're out there. . . .

More Bronte-Related Madness

Clearly, we're on a roll here.  This one was brought to my attention by ellen_kushner 's cousin:

Since I have not the first notion how to make it bigger, here's the link so you can actually read the darn thing.  It's very funny.

I'm Anne, btw.
