Happy Totoro

Rest and Comfort

After 10 days of paneling, handing out postcards for Magic Mirror of the Mermaid Queen and Interfictions 2, introducing readers, and talking, talking, talking, I'm finally in Maine, where the nights are cool, the mist rises from the Reach, the kitchen is well-stocked, there's a porch to write on (two, in fact--one glassed-in, one open) and lots and lots of quiet.

No internet. But there is wireless at the public library. 20 miles away. Which is where I am now, and will be, at irregular intervals, until July 28. I intend to write some about Readercon and ALA and post them whenever, but you know what happens to good intentions.

I'm going to write now.
